“My experience attending your Assertive Communication Training course vastly exceeded my expectations. What I learned has continually improved my communication skills and confidence.”
“Thank you so much for the wonderful training that you gave to me. It has changed my life and the way I respond to everybody. My Management skills have greatly improved and this has benefited my entire team."
“I consider you the expert in dealing with difficult situations… You have a knack for zeroing in on the crux of the problem – what you say turns the whole picture around for me, so that I’m able to deal with the situation from a position of clarity and confidence.”
“Many workshops have been presented on stress and the working person, but I think your programme rates at the top of the list.”
“I must say that I enjoyed the day tremendously, and I learned a great deal. You struck just the right note (not always easy) for us library-types! I’ve been attending ‘Dealing with difficult people’ seminars almost annually since I started professionally in libraries in 1985, and I can honestly say yours had the most substance of value to me and my various workplace communication challenges.”
THANK YOU GOLDIE!
I hereby state assertively
That this course has been fun
And I for one have learned a lot
Now that all is said and done.
My head is held up when I walk
With an imagined string
And when I shake a person’s hand
I do not squeeze their ring.
I now use more eye contact
I try hard not to stare
And I listen better, and respond
So people know I care.
Enough of these “I” statements.
Perhaps I’m over-doing it!
But this is what you taught us
(Unless I’m misconstruing it).
I’m sure that all of us agree
There isn’t any doubt
We’re ready now to face each day.
Get ready world – LOOK OUT!
